Whether you feel a distinct warmth, a subtle pulse, or simply a deep sense of calm and presence, the next step is to prepare a pure, undisturbed “temporary home” for the budding Qi. Find a safe and quiet place and assume a comfortable and familiar posture, either standing or sitting. Relax your body, with your spine naturally aligned. Bring your mindful attention to your breath. As you inhale slowly and gently, completely relax your body and mind, allowing fresh, clean air to flow in naturally. Your intention here is to “invite” and “receive,” not to “take.” Imagine this fresh breath as soft, clear water, gently rinsing your inner space, making it more tranquil, transparent, and peaceful-
